DOUBLE PLATEN TECHNOLOGY
The technique Double-deck is used in many fields such as watchmaking, electronics, and photonics, where precision is essential.
All types of materials can be worked on using this technique: glass, crystals, metals, composites, ceramics.
Double-deck machines produce perfect geometry in terms of flatness and parallelism. The parts to be processed are placed in support satellites between two rotating plates. The satellites themselves are set in motion, creating a planetary movement.
This kinematics naturally ensures the most stringent specifications. This technique can be applied to flat, spherical, and cylindrical parts with high precision and excellent repeatability. Working in batches guarantees the homogeneity of the geometric characteristics of the parts.
Depending on your surface quality expectations, the machines can be configured to achieve matte (softened) finishes or polished (mirror-like) finishes. The different settings directly impact the treatment results, and my expertise is crucial in achieving the desired outcome.
The results vary greatly depending on the materials and processes. The following values should therefore be considered as the best achievable under optimal conditions, with significant efficiency (on known materials):
When developing our machines, we pay close attention to their reliability, precision, and ease of implementation for all types of applications: from research and development in laboratories to large-scale production.
The simplicity of our interfaces allows users to quickly and easily get started.
